Aerofab Restorations, based at Thruxton Aerodrome in Hampshire have been restoring a Cessna 175 Skylark since August 2023. 

The aircraft, destined to be the most advanced Garmin Avionics demonstrator in the UK is now in the paint shop, awaiting its brand-new livery pictured below.  The design includes the Garmin Logo as part of the CAA-certified registration, with sweeping lines and accent colours that will make this very special aircraft stand out on any apron. 

The Lycoming engine arrived just in time to be hung on the airframe ahead of the specialised painting process.
